Video Flipper

Flip a video horizontally or vertically in your browser. Choose the mirror direction, keep the original audio, and download the flipped file — no upload, no watermark.

What this video flipper does

This tool mirrors video clips directly in your browser. Choose left to right, top to bottom, or both directions; for MP4 and MOV the mirror is written as file metadata instead of being baked into the frames, so the video data can be copied over untouched. The audio track stays in the output.

How to flip a video

  1. 1.Upload your video file — MP4, WebM, MOV, or MKV
  2. 2.Choose the mirror direction — left to right, top to bottom, or both
  3. 3.Flip the video in your browser
  4. 4.Download the flipped file, or queue several clips

Why flip a video in the browser

Fast for MP4 and MOV — when the source codec fits the container, the mirror is stored as metadata and the video data is copied instead of re-encoded.

Private local processing — the file is read and written on your device and is not uploaded to any server.

Audio is kept — the flipped file contains the original soundtrack.

Batch flipping — queue up to 20 clips and mirror every file in the same direction.

Video flipping FAQ

Which mirror directions are available?

Three options: left to right, top to bottom, and both directions, which equals a 180° mirror. The chosen direction is applied to the whole frame.

Does flipping a video re-encode it?

For MP4 and MOV output the mirror is written as transformation metadata, so the video data is copied over instead of re-encoded. WebM cannot store mirror metadata, so it is re-encoded.

Which output formats can I choose?

MP4, MOV, and WebM, with MP4 preselected. MP4 and MOV can store the mirror as metadata, while WebM output is re-encoded.

What does "Bake the mirror into frames" change?

It writes the mirrored pixels into the video data instead of metadata, for players and editors that ignore mirror metadata. That mode re-encodes the video and takes longer.

How many videos can I flip at once?

Batch mode accepts up to 20 clips and applies the same direction to each one; the results can be downloaded one by one or together as a ZIP file.
