Is my video uploaded during rotation?
No. Rotation runs in your browser, so the file stays on your device and is never uploaded to a server.
Does rotating a video re-encode it?
For MP4 and MOV output the angle is stored as transformation metadata, so the video data is copied over while the source codec can be kept. WebM cannot store rotation metadata and is re-encoded.
What rotation angles are available?
The tool rotates clips by 90°, 180°, or 270° clockwise; 0° keeps the original orientation. Mirroring a video is handled by the separate video flipper tool.
Which video formats are supported?
You can upload MP4, WebM, MOV, MKV, M4V, AVI, and MPEG files; the output container follows the source and falls back to MP4 for other formats.
