Stacked caption collages, built locally

Quote Maker

Turn a photo into a quote collage in your browser. Add caption lines with fonts, colors and sizes, adjust the spacing between blocks, then download the stacked image as a PNG.

Turn one photo into a stacked quote collage

Write caption lines in a rich text editor and place them over a photo. Each pair of lines becomes its own caption block, and every block adds another copy of the photo below the previous one, so longer text produces a taller collage. The result is composed and downloaded as a PNG without an upload step.

How to make a quote image

  1. 1.Drop a photo, choose a file, or open one of the sample images.
  2. 2.Type the caption lines. Press Enter for a new line; every two lines become one caption block.
  3. 3.Select text and use the toolbar to set bold, italics, underline, text color, background color, font, and font size.
  4. 4.Drag the Caption spacing slider to set how far each stacked block sits below the previous one.
  5. 5.Choose 1×, 1.5×, or 2× quality and download the finished collage as a PNG.

What the quote maker supports

Caption text supports bold, italics, underline, strikethrough, text color, background color, font family, and ten font sizes.

Caption lines are grouped two per block, and every block stacks another copy of the photo, which builds the classic quote collage layout.

The spacing slider sets the vertical step between blocks in the photo's own pixels, from 30 px up to the photo's height, so the same value always exports the same collage whatever the window size.

Quality scales the collage from the original image width: 1× matches the photo's own pixels, 1.5× and 2× render it larger. The whole collage scales as one piece, so the photo keeps its proportions.

Style fonts load on demand, while Chinese and other CJK text uses the system font stacks already installed on your device.

The photo is decoded, composed, and exported in the browser, with no upload endpoint involved.

Quote maker FAQ

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The image is read locally, composed in the page, and exported by your own browser. The tool has no upload step and does not create a hosted share link.

Why does the image get taller as I type?

Every two paragraphs form one caption block. Each block renders another copy of the photo, offset from the previous one by the spacing value, so adding lines extends the collage downwards.

What does the Caption spacing slider change?

It sets the distance between consecutive stacked copies of the photo, measured in the photo's own pixels: 30 px up to the photo's height. A smaller value overlaps the copies more tightly, and the same value exports the same collage at any window size.

How does the 1×, 1.5×, and 2× quality setting work?

The quality setting is a multiple of the original image width, not a fixed canvas size. At 1× the photo is exported at its own pixel size, 1.5× renders it half again as wide, and 2× doubles it. The height follows the image proportions and the number of caption blocks, and a very tall or very large collage is capped automatically to stay inside browser canvas limits.

Can I use my own fonts?

The font list covers common system fonts, widely available web fonts, and CJK system families such as Microsoft YaHei, SimSun, SimHei, KaiTi, and FangSong. Fonts are applied as inline styles, so the download matches the preview.

What can I upload and what do I get back?

Load any image your browser can decode, up to 10 MB, such as PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF, or GIF. The export is always a PNG with a white background.
