How to censor an image

Which censor effects are available?
Three effects are available per region. Pixelate applies a mosaic with adjustable block size — the classic look used to conceal faces in TV and news footage. Blur applies a soft gaussian filter, which suits social media posts that need a gentler look. Solid color fills the area with an opaque cover, commonly used to black out text, numbers, and credentials.
What does the intensity slider change?
For Pixelate, intensity controls the mosaic block size — larger values create bigger, more heavily concealed pixels. For Blur, it controls the blur radius — larger values create a softer, less readable area.
Can I censor several areas in one image?
Yes. Drag to draw as many regions as you need. Each region keeps its own effect and intensity, and you can click to select, move, resize, or delete it.
When is the color picker used?
The color picker applies to the Solid color effect. It fills the selected region with an opaque color so the content underneath is fully hidden.
Why is the zoom control useful?
Zooming in enlarges the preview so you can draw and adjust regions around small details, such as a single text line or a small face, with better precision.
Which selection shapes are available?
Three shapes are available: Rectangle drags a box from corner to corner, Ellipse draws an oval inside the same drag area, and Brush paints a freehand stroke with an adjustable brush size. All three work with every censor effect.
Which image formats are supported?
JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WebP, and other common raster formats can be opened. The edited image is always exported as a lossless PNG to keep the censor effects clean.
How does this image censor protect my privacy?
